I have a 1 year old Australian cattle dog mix and she is very picky with her toys, she loves to chew but I cant seem to find the right toys for her to chew on. i have bought her the original Kong, stuck treats inside and even tried peanut butter but she wont chew on it. She loves rawhides but I have heard they are not good for dogs in large amounts. Any suggestions would be greatly appriciated.

Larger raw beef bones might do the trick.

Hi Dudley,
I feel the raw hide toys/treats are great but what used to keep my Labrador busy for days was a leg bone! Sometimes I would slice it in 2 down the centre for her to get the marrow out easily but it would last a lot longer if I just left it as is or cut in two smaller ones :-) -------------------- |

My girls love Nylabones, either the durables or the edibles keep them chewing happily.

I have the same problem with my Black Lab. He'll chew the heck out of everything. I've gotten some "hard to destroy" toys but he's got them chewed up in minutes. I have yet to find anything he can't destroy.
