My 8 year old Lab has sores all over his body. When I first notice it's dark area and when i separate fur, it's scaly like a sore was there and healed.
I know he's prone to hot spots in summer and usually fall/winter his skin heals up but not this time. Could it be allergy to food we are feeding? Any advise would be greatly appreciated. I've noticed if i shave the area and spray the area with anti inflammatory med, it clears up pretty quick. I'm thinking maybe i should just shave him completely to clear problem up. |

Your dog likely has a secondary infection and needs to be treated by a vet. I responded to your other post.
